I room with Jason (Ciaran and Joel do not attend, maybe they were bitter about the work the year before) and we are on the first floor. The home of the old boys. The oldest kids in the Spectrum portion of CTD. As veterans, we knew what SPAC meant. We knew where to go in town (that actually was a mandatory fun activity, going to downtown Evanston to... uh, go to downtown Evanston. That's really funny to me now.)

Jason takes Algebra II (I boast a little about two years previous and my feat) and I take Creative Writing which is seen as one of those blow off classes. And it really is pretty easy which is good because it leaves me lots of time to go through all this shit. Niquole and Neha are rooming together and they are also on the first floor. I see them and give great big hugs. Then we go throughout Willard looking for other alumni. Jason's ex comes by once. Then we meet Mira and instant bond. Anyway...

Here's what's missing in the Mira story. In our counselor group this year are two guys, Andy and Eddy. They too are veterans. They have an Asian guy clique called the Cousins (as in, hey, we're Asian, we're all related somehow). I get an invitation to join but decline. It's funny how they accept me more than Jason. Reverse racism. Here's where things gets fun.
