The next year, all my friends from home made it in and we all coincidentally took the same class. So we all requested to be in the same room. We got a quad and it rocked. Everyone got along well and we had friends and people to be with. So all was good except for a slight discrepancy in work that pissed Ciaran and my third best friend Joel off.

You see, Jason and I got into one Biology session that was very very easy (it was the one where I met Mira) and the other two got into the other one where they did labs every day and stayed up until all hours of the night finishing said labwork. It was great for me, who finished most of my work in class and basically breezed through that summer. Socially, we had similar dichotomy. Jason and Ciaran hooked up with two girls who were friends. I'm not sure if either one remembers them. I do because… I remember people. Joel and I drifted around.

For those of you readers who know Joel, I know it's really funny to think of him not attached to a gorgeous girl. But this was back before high school…

I met a few new people, including some girls and lusted after them in course and obsessively stayed in touch with them. But those all fell away. Except one. My friend Niquole (she insisted on the q) became my friend during a trip to the beach. I'd seen her around a few times before. She always wore this blue beanie on her head.

So one day, blue beanie comes up to us as we're walking to the beach. She introduces herself and we keep going from there. The long and short of this story is that I come off of second year CTD with a huge crush on Niquole and maybe her friend Neha. Both of them, actually.

I keep in touch with Niquole by calling her once a week. Normal modus operandi for summer camp stalkers. I call Neha too but she's not so much fun on the phone. But Niquole and I actually do well which is surprising since at this age, my normal conversation with a long distance girls is to call them and blather long and hard about my life. Which pisses Janette (girl from first year) off to no end but she never tells me because she's too nice. But Niquole and I get along. Other crap happens throughout the year. But as my last year at NU (for summer camp J) approaches, I think to myself, I think we have a winner!

Third year at CTD. You get the full story now.
