Gwyneth

Here's the fall.

Her prom (she went to the all girls school) was fun. Hypnotist was cool. She was a little distant but I didn't notice anything. Didn't notice much. It's springtime. That magical time when a young man's fancy, blah blah. I'm really head over heels. But you can tell that.

I go off on Kairos, which is the most intense retreat in the Marquette High Retreat Sequence. Can't tell you what went on, or else I'd be excommunicated from the school, but it was a good time. Came back with really open to the world. Emotionally sandblasted. That was me. And since I hadn't seen Gwyneth for 4 whole days and I'd thought about her almost constantly when I wasn't thinking about God, I got home and scheduled a date. But she wasn't that excited. And I could feel it. But I played dumb. We finally got together with the "new" version of Romeo and Juliet which had just come out on video and which she'd told me was her favorite movie during one of those first phone calls (and I remembered it... yeah, how's that for romantic?). Watched the movie... kissed a little. Then I drove her home.

The drive that deserves a whole page.
