The Disclaimer

At the risk of sounding like I'm kissing and telling, all the names in these stories have been changed. The new names are those of famous actresses that I've had crushes on. My reasoning is that these women have sold their rights to privacy by being famous and so these personal stories of mine could be packaged as the fictional tales.

But they're not.

So that's why the actresses' names are here. But you're probably wondering how I went on this massive soul searching journey through my murky high school days. Here's what happened. In the spring of 1999, I went through a massive downward spiral as far as dating went. A girl Thought was pretty neat decided that she just wasn't ready for a relationship. Now, this should have been taken in stride and glossed over but I instead spent several nights improperly. The first night, I read through a lot of old e-mail that should have been encrypted for years. This got me thinking about Helen, reading through the e-mail conversations they had. So I called her and she bitched me out for a while. So I was depressed and spent another night reading moping around. A friend here asked what was wrong and it wasn't very easy to sum up the entire Helen story in toto in a few minutes so I spent the next few nights writing a letter to this friend, explaining the whole Helen thing. And it felt so good. That letter became the Helen story and I decided to go through writing the rest.

Well that's pretty normal. When did it get web wacky?

Well, for my 19th birthday, my brother got me this site. I really didn't have any content to put up and I didn't know quite what to do with it so I made my first project making the art and my second project figuring out something special to put up. And so I decided on these. I took some flack for it at first but I haven't put up a story yet without asking for permission from the people involved (except in 2 cases but they don't care, I'm sure). Of the other girls, these stories have gotten us talking again and that's really the cool result.

So how'd you pick the names?

Well this is the interesting part. I'll get to it in a few days.
