Why Kip?
Well, when I was a toddler, my older sister decided that it would be cool to have a housedog. Since my brother had terrible allergies which would have basically caused his face to swell shut with all the dog hair in the house, it was agreed that I would be her "Puppy".
This was all fine and good until my cousin Michelle started calling me "Kitty" whenever she would come to visit.
"Kitty" + "Puppy" = "Kippy"
It works, really.
Why this page?
I've gotten a few coments from this page, mostly ones like, "How much of a loser are you?"
Or, "Why do you feel the need to put up such personal stuff on the web?"
I feel that if people can't put up such material online, then the web can't be a very good medium for personal expression.
The trick then, is to making such pages be well written and well designed to get away from the "I made this, let's put it up on a digital fridge for all to see" to "this site is an expression of me and I care enough to put effort into it" sort of attitude.
